just got back from a run....
trying to get things out of my head to clear my mind
kind of exhausted physically and mentally......
kind of burnt out......
it seems like the more and more you give
the less you'll receive........
it's really not easy to be nice
cuz you just be taken advantage of,
or you'll be called a fool or stupid
I really admire Jesus, for He humbled himself and washed His deciple's feet
He even washed the feet of the man who's gonna betray Him.
I mean, WOW!!! who in the world who do such a thing???
He's my role-model sia..... HE DA MAN!!!
whenever i'm feeling down, i just look up to Jesus
and i feel so much better for He inspires me helps me back on my feet again
I LOVE YOU JESUS, thank you for being in my life

damn, had my first collapse case last night. It happened ard 10+ at a wedding.
The bloke, Chinese, 35 yrs old, history of heart problems, was drinking when he knows he shouldn't. when we got there, he already stopped breathing. The Defib pads were applied straight away, he was in VF. Shocked him abt 3 times, then he went into fine VF. commenced CPR and bagging. he was infused with adrenaline too. after 1 round of CPR, we loaded and left the scene. commenced CPR in the ambulance all the way to the hospital. Informed the hospital to stand by. When we arrived at TTSH, we were greeted by 2 staff nurses and we transported him straight away into the A&E. doctor was there with 3 nurses. i still continued CPR on him while the nurses bagged him and inserted a Lyringoscope and suction tube into him........etc etc. too late, he was gone.
35 years old...........
i can't imagine what his wife will go through. wonder if he has any kids. when i came out of the A&E, his group of friends from the wedding were already outside waiting. I couldn't look them in the eye for some reason or another. Also had to put on a brave front. Sigh, i kept thinking of the incident over and over again, wondering what went wrong. the problem is, nothing went wrong. we did everything correctly. it was his time to go. I'm sorry pal, we tried our best. May you rest in peace till HE comes.
mustn't get too affected by this. it's part of the job. on for more challenges tonight, 2nd night shift.

just did my first night shift last night (monday). quite quiet i must say, only 3 calls. first call, a blangla got bashed in the head by a local indian...... when we got there the thing that amused me most was that he kept on saying, 'many many pain, many many pain!' haha..... the second and third case involved indians also.
i'm not being racist or anything, but is it a past time for indians to drink and fight? i mean, most of the cases involving indians i get is either drunk cases or fight/assault cases. sheesh. oh well, tonight's another night shift. when i was sleeping the bloody mosquitos wouldn't leave me alone! one stung me on my eye lid!!! now it's still swollen a little........
